Before you begin

If you don’t have a Business Manager account: Create a Business Manager account. You must have a Business Manager in order to proceed. Read on How to create Facebook Business Manager Account
If you do have a Business Manager account: Make sure you have admin access to the Business Manager account. If you don’t, reach out to a current Business Manager admin to give you admin access.
Make sure your Facebook Business Manager email was verified. You can check this by heading to the Business Info tab in your Business Settings page. (Or click the shortcut link here >> https://business.facebook.com/settings/info)
Make sure the personal Facebook ad account you wanted to add is owned by you.
Make sure the ad account is not using manual / prepaid payment method.
Make sure the ad account has payment history before.

To add personal Facebook Ad Account to your Facebook Business Manager

Find and copy your ad account ID. Usually it can be found within the Account Quality page.



In your Business Settings page, select the Ad Account tab, look for a blue Add button. Then, click on Add an ad account.



Paste the ad account ID that you have copy previously. Then click on Add Ad Account.



Upon success, you will see the ad account in the ad account listing.

If you can't add your Personal Ad Account you will need to create new ad account

Create New Ad Account

Head to your Business Manager Account Settings > Ad accounts > Create a new ad account



Ensure to select time zone (GMT +08:00) Asia/Kuala Lumpur, Currency – MYR – Malaysian Ringgit > Select for which business this ad account is for > Enter ad account name > Next




Select your Facebook Account > Enable “Manage ad account” > Assign > Add payment info > Ensure currency MYR > Add card information > Done
