How to connect your domain name to your landing page
This helpdesk article will teach how to connect your domain to AdsHelper, and it allows you to use your domain name in any of your landing pages. If your domain is not brought by you or handled by somebody else, you can ask them to help you to connect your domain to AdsHelper.
To connect your domain
- Decide on which subdomain you would like to use:
- Go to your domain’s DNS records.
- Add a record to your DNS settings, selecting CNAME as the record type.
- At the Name/Label/Host field, enter your subdomain name:
- If you want your landing page link to be www.yourdomainname.com, enter www at the Name/Label/Host field
- If you want your landing page link to be promo.yourdomainname.com, enter promo at the Name/Label/Host field
- At the Destination/Target field, enter page.adshelper.com
- Save your record.
CNAME record changes can take up to 72 hours to go into effect, but typically they happen much sooner.
- Head to your landing page, and under Page Settings, select Manage Domains
- Select Custom Domain, then Add New Domain.
- Enter your domain name, and click on the Add button
- If your CNAME records have been configured correctly, you should be able to connect your domain successfully.
