How to connect your domain name to your landing page

This helpdesk article will teach how to connect your domain to AdsHelper, and it allows you to use your domain name in any of your landing pages. If your domain is not brought by you or handled by somebody else, you can ask them to help you to connect your domain to AdsHelper.

To connect your domain


Decide on which subdomain you would like to use:

Go to your domain’s DNS records.
Add a record to your DNS settings, selecting CNAME as the record type.
At the Name/Label/Host field, enter your subdomain name:
If you want your landing page link to be www.yourdomainname.com, enter www at the Name/Label/Host field
If you want your landing page link to be promo.yourdomainname.com, enter promo at the Name/Label/Host field
At the Destination/Target field, enter page.adshelper.com

Note that all domain providers may have different names of for record field, some providers have Destination/Target field, while some providers name this field as Points to. Feel free to reach out to us if you need any assistance.

Save your record.

CNAME record changes can take up to 72 hours to go into effect, but typically they happen much sooner.

Tip: If you want to double-check whether the record changes have gone into effect successfully, you can head to https://dnschecker.org/#CNAME, and enter your domain name.
Note: If you are still having problems with this, you may contact the support from your domain hosting site, and ask them to help you to add CNAME to your DNS records.
Head to your landing page, and under Page Settings, select Manage Domains
Select Custom Domain, then Add New Domain.
Enter your domain name, and click on the Add button

If your CNAME records have been configured correctly, you should be able to connect your domain successfully.
